Grant Wilson - Director, Construction Manager
Since establishing Wilson Building in 2006, Grant Wilson has worked hard to build a successful and award-winning building company. He prides himself on building strong customer relationships by always putting his customers first.
Having gained a Trade Certificate in Carpentry in 1991, Grant has over twenty years experience in the building industry. His experience includes four years as a Construction Manager for a large commercial construction company in London where he worked on the London Stock Exchange and Royal Bank of Scotland Head Offices.
Grant Taylor – Director, Construction Manager
Grant Taylor joined the Wilson Building team in 2013 to head up the Commercial division. He is a hands-on manager who is skilled in developing systems and building relationships with designers and clients, in order to deliver projects on time and on budget.
Grant has been the project manager on many large-scale commercial construction projects in Wellington and the UK. Aside from working as a Construction Manager on central London projects for two years, Grant’s experience was mainly gained at Mainzeal in Wellington, working his way up from a construction management cadetship to project manager.
Blair Gollop – Commercial Manager
Blair joined the Wilson team at the beginning of 2016 and brings a wealth of pre-construction and estimating services across a wide range of projects. Blair oversees and provides estimating and commercial services across both the residential and commercial arms of Wilson Building.
Blair has an extensive network in the building industry providing a link to many specialist contractors. This is vital for delivering thorough and competitive estimates.
Blair understands the importance of working collaboratively with consultants and clients to achieve project goals. His open and inclusive approach is respected by his peers, consultants and clients.
Mike Deane - Project Manager
Mike Deane joined the Wilson Building team in early 2015 in a project management role. Mike is an enthusiastic project manager who prides himself on building strong relationships based on a direct, honest and respectful approach.
After originally training as a lawyer, Mike completed a carpentry apprenticeship with Freear Philip (in record time!) and quickly rose to the role of Construction Manager. He built a well-deserved reputation for great project management, reflected by the high number of repeat projects for satisfied clients.
We have a highly qualified, professional and dedicated building team. Our staff are extremely committed to the projects they work on and take pride in delivering on time and on budget. Many are longstanding members of the team with some celebrating ten years with Wilson Building.
